Pancreatic digestive enzymes is a standardized extract of the porcine pancreas containing key pancreatic enzymes such as amylase, lipase and proteases that help break down carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
Structurally, porcine pancreatic enzymes have 90-95% similarity with human pancreatic enzymes. Deficiency of pancreatic enzymes can result in various gastrointestinal problems and cause malabsorption.
