Acetyl L-Carnitine


Acetyl-L-carnitine is an acetylated form of L-carnitine. It is a dietary supplement and naturally synthesized in human brain, liver and kidneys. Acetyl-L-carnitine provides a substrate reservoir for cellular energy production and optimizes energetics in mitochondria, stabilizes cell membrane, serves as an oxidant and possesses neurotransmitting activity similar to acetylcholine.

Dosage information:
The recommended dose of acetyl-L-carnitine varies from 1000 mg/1 g to 3000 mg/3 gm a day. Those exceeding the recommended doses must do so under the supervision of their physician due to the increased risk of potential side effects.
Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.
