Hyaluronic Acid

gluten free hylauronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural polymer consisting of repeating disaccharide units composed of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. Hyaluronic acid can contain near 25,000 disaccharide repeats in length.

Hyaluronic acid is a key structural component of skin connective tissue, cartilage matrix and joint synovial fluid where it serves as a main lubricating component.

It is presumed that oral administration of hyaluronic acid generates an excess of precursors for body hyaluronic acid synthesis which can stimulate synthesis of new hyaluronic acid in cartilage matrix, synovial fluid and skin.
