Serrazimes® is a proteolytic enzyme system derived from Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus melleus that is a dietary supplement used for cardiovascular, antiinflammatory, respiratory, or immune support.
Serrazimes® is an alkaline metalloprotease that works to activate the Hageman factor-kallikrein-kinin systems of mammals and directly degrades or inhibits IgG and IgA immune factors as well as the regulatory proteins a-2-macroglobulin, a-2-antiplasmin, and antithrombin III.
Potential side effects:

- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) – naproxen, ibuprofen, diclophenac, etc.
- Active peptic ulcer disease

- Anti-coagulation therapy

The recommended dose of serrazimes® is 1 capsule (20,000 units) 1 to 3 times daily on an empty stomach 30 min before meals.
